Yes, beer and liquor are included (except for top shelf liquor, I think that’s 50% off).

No discounts or CRT Card acceptance at the Castillo because the All Inclusive is a much better deal than that.

A buddy of mine was staying there last month and he told me they were no longer selling food.

The cook at the Amistad didn't come back after Santa Semana, so they gave up on the kitchen. Too much hassle.

I second the Castillo suggestion. I don't visit Costa Rica much anymore, but when I do, it's Castillo. I really like the quiet environment and the all-inclusive deal cannot be beat.

The last time that I was at Hotel Castillo (October 2025) I said hello to Jimmy from the old Zona 2. If anyone here knows and understands the scene there.. please tell me who understands it better than Jimmy and Matt? Jimmy chose Hotel Castillo because he knows what his best options are.
