Last November I flew down and spent the night in Escazu then went to Belen to pick up the car (you can get airport transfers though) I had lost my drivers license and they helped me get a driver and a car.... fortunately I found my drivers license an hour later. But if there is any speed bump Costa Rica has many,,, Jairo and crew will do everything they can to help. And did I say they are honest? You will have your price before you arrive. They are absolutely fantastic.

Whatever you do DON'T rent from Mapache. Very bad experience a number of years ago.

Racoons steal, but at least they wash their food. For those who don’t speak Spanish, mapache means raccoon.
