I know it probably hasn't been quite long enough to trickle down to the Ticos and Ticas we deal with down there, but has anyone noticed any additional animosity or anger towards Americans due to Trump's deportation policies, and possible future tariffs?

I live here. Most ticos I speak with support Trump, or at least are neutral, they tend to lean conservative, common sense and family values, no non stop abortions around the clock here, no drag queens in their schools grappling their Ch*ldren, no division based on race, sex, etc., Christmas decorations allowed, etc.

They have their own corrupt greedy government that skims money to corrupt officials and their supporters while the people suffer and want change themselves.

I find Ticos don't care for sanctimonious in your faces insufferable know it all woke hypocrites Gringos, and Ticos love living here, very few if any are illegally coming to the USA so they don't feel a comradery with those who do.

They live and let live and the Puda Vida is strong, plus they know America's economy will be improving and more and more credit card wielding tourists will be coming.
