I flew home this morning and for those who have the Clear program they now have a dedicated line and an Employee to assist, I will say I was quite surprised, this saved me at least 10-15 minutes in the Immigration line.

I used it last week and it does speed things up. I think they started at SJO in October.

This is great! Clear is fairly useless now in the US as there are so many using it and it save a few seconds (if you are global/TSA precheck as well) and sometimes my non-clear friends get through security faster than I do. Happy that I can get a little more value on my membership now.

I took advantage of Clear like most because my credit card gives me back the annual credit, Clear membership is being reimbursed now, just like a TSA Pre check credit is given back with so many credit cards, So yeah I don't disagree like TSA Pre-check naturally more people will have these access.

I have never had a line at my local airport, however sometimes when I do fly out late night Clear is not even available and closed. I have used it also at some sports venues, CoMerica park in Detroit and Allegiant stadium in Vegas for a COPA match this past summer. I have also read more venues are to be added at later dates, so I have found some other benefits for this expedited security feature very happy to see it at SJO, as I visit CR a few times a year and as most here, I have experienced those Immigration lines, which can be long & slow at times.



October makes sense it was not there when I departed in September.
