STD testing is widely available in San Jose through Lab chains, clinics, and hospitals. Cost, range of conditions and time to get the tests vary widely (onsite lab, blood draw, urine, swabs, anal probing etc.)

Thanks for the complete answer. It doesn't look like any of those test you listed was for HIV but maybe I just don't recognize the Spanish wording for it.
