Being based in Panama, I miss most of the college football season (go noles). I was wondering, is there anything such as an internet sports package? Direct TV is down here, but they dont offer the college football package, and cable blacks out many games. I have high speed in my apartment, and a tv tuner in my cpu...so maybe....help me out if you have the know how. There is a free place to stay in Panama to watch if you do!

Would like to get that on line version if there is a way to hook into a TV set.

Do not like the idea of watching the game on a 17" monitor in a computer chair as opposed to watching it on a 44" TV from a comfortable sofa.

Any techies out there? Your input would be appreciated.

To Ding Dong and the others who live here in the SJ area..... you can watch ALL the college and Pro games by going to the Horseshoe Casino, Sportsman's Lodge,Colonial Casino or others that I can't think of at the moment. You can also bet on the games (one way or the other) eat,and enjoy the company of other ex-pats.

VB,

I used to go watch college football at the Colonial faithfully every Saturday, but last year when I returned, the book was closed and they had yellow tape over all the TV screens. Have they re-opened? That used to be the about the greatest place to watch games and B.S. with the other expats. It would be shame if they coouldn't get it up and running again.

Sandanista.....The Government has closed the sports books at the Casinos, but they are tied in with internet operations,so that it is easy to watch and bet. I set up an account at the Horseshoe and watched and bet most weekends there. For some unexplained reason, the sportsbook at the Hotel Morazan has remained open throughout the problem.

Gators :?: :?: :?:

Are they still playing division 1A football :?: :?:

Can respect the Noles they schedule UM every year while the Gators run and hide. What an embarrassment to the State of Florida
