I am heading down with a couple of friends in Sept. One is obsessed with poker and pretty damn good at it. Actually really good. I am not a fan but to keep him occupied (while I am "all in" doing something different ). I have seen the horse shoe has the tourneys and such, but I'd like a little feed back from some of the fellows here that have had some time at the tables. He isnt one for nickle and dimes. He takes the game way to serious. Any suggestions for tables and where? Just looking out for a buddy and saving myself time for "myself"! Thanks in advance!

The Horseshoe has a daily NL $1/$2 game. There is usually only 1 or 2 tables going. There is one other casino (Radisson?) that has poker.

I like poker a lot too but when I'm in CR, I'm not wasting precious time sitting at a poker table.

You know Orange I like to play poker and Blackjack too..............but my concentration just isn't the same in CR.............I keep thinking.............awe phuck it where's the p*ssy at?

I, too, love to play Black Jack when in country, but the only time I'll actually sit at a table is when I need a little time to build up some more spunk. Playing cards is always a good excuse while waiting for mas' leche!!!! Plus, when ya win, you almost feel like your next session is free!!!
