I apologize for this post in advance, but I need to vent.

I was in court today to fight a parking ticket that I received from an overzealous traffic cop. I am not guilty, so I'm not paying. I get in the little room and see the judge, a middle aged woman, seems pleasant enough. We go through the motions, and then I start to explain what happened.

The whole time she keeps cutting me off. I couldn't get a word in edge wise and was being corrected the whole time. Basically, from the start, all negative and a bad attitude. It ended up that my evidence was not good enough so she gave me a 30-day adjournment to come up with better photographs. Oh, she did offer to reduce my ticket if I plead guilty and just paid right away. $90 instead of $115. Gee, thanks for the generous offer lady. Haha.

The whole time I was thinking how sorry I feel for the poor schmuck who comes home to that every single day. GRINGA BITCH!!!! If I end up with one like her, I'll do the honorable thing and just kill myself (after I go to CR and blow ALL my money on chicas so none's left for her).

I'm with ya Orange. I sell boats for a living and just today the middle aged gringa that answers the phone objected to the sign I have up when entering the showroom: No boarding please without salesman. I think most would find that statement rather innocuous but NO I am informed by this vag that my sign is, you guessed it, chauvinistic and demeaning to any women who would enter the showroom. She tells me it should say "salesperson".
What is hilarious is that there are no female sales people! ZIP ZERO NADA! I rest my case
Bye the way was that Judge Judy :P :P

YO Orange:

I've been there in the same situation so I concur with wondering who would live with that bitchita. I had a similiar experience from a woman judge who would not listen to me. I also got nabbed by a black gringa cop that arrested me for having a beer on the beach......OK, but I got a lot of foul mouth male degrading along with it. Problem is ........it's universal not just gringas. Just ask some CRT fellows who got taken by tica lawyers in CR......not to mention tico ones as well. Gee, now I know I'm not the only one.

Were you pissed because she was a Black cop, or a Black gringa?

I'm puzzled as to why you mention that she was Black, as it doesn't seem to be relevent to the story?

YO Rolex:

Neither one. Because she had a gringa bitchita attitude. As for the use of "black" (BTW, lower case b). Descriptive and inclusive in the sense that bitch attitude reaches accross all colors and cultures. Do you ever use the term Colombian chica, Tica chica, black chica, black man, white man, old gringa, ugly gringa....etc. when describing someone? Pertaining to the original post, is "middle age" gringa revelent to the story? It never occured to me to inquire.

I'm puzzled as to why you ask that question.....let alone use a capitol "B" incorrectly. Please explain.

I'm just trolling. Busting your balls. :)

Although I think when you refer to an ethnic group, you do capitolize it. I know you do in the case of Jew or Indian. I assume you would with Black, as well.

YO Again:

You are correct as to ethnic titles such as examplified in Jew (religion), Colombians (nationallity), Oriental (race) or a hybrid category as African Americans. I do not believe it occurs with adjectives are describing a person unless used such as "Black/African." Did you know "whitey" is in the dictionary as describing a white person or people.....now that is funny!

I'm glad you brought this up because it is something we might address in our use of the english language.....which seems to change somewhat every decade or so.

This is not revelent to this topic but I found it amusing during my trips to Austrailia when a Aussie woman was coming over to visit me and she would say "I'm coming over to knock you up"........rather stimulating one might say.

I noticed some guys capitalize the G in Gringa...does that make them a nationality, race, or "titled" in some way? I truly try to keep my grammar intact 8) . You guys are getting a little too deep for me though Circus and Rolex.

Of course, the real reason these "professional" women are bitchy and mistreating you...is because they think they have found equality in vocation...while actually subconsciously they miss being in the kitchen, getting their nails and shopping done, and being taken care of by THEIR man. THese Latinas over here, while poor, could really show these bitches you mention how to live and smile more...all the way to YOUR bank account!

About 10 years ago, I had several Israeli friends who were mentioning that many of the trends in the (remaining) Kibbutz's in Israel are moving back toward having the woman assume more traditional roles of raising the Ch*ldren and letting the men do the manly work.

After 40+ years of Socialist equality on the farm, where everybody trades jobs... the genetic impetus for a woman to be a woman and a man to be man just couldn't be sublimated anymore.

I thought it was interesting.

Currently, in the US and many other places around the world, assuming the "traditional" roles is not an option for a husband and wife. It's just not economically feasible. Unless he's a senior level executive or a successful business owner, a man can no longer single-handedly provide for his whole family, allowing his wife to stay home (and watch Oprah). It's funny, because I had this exact discussion with my father 3 days ago. He was telling me how when he was my age (29), he was expected to marry and be able to support his whole family on a single income. My mother did not work until I was about 10 or 11. She had to start working.

Does anyone else see the irony in someone even jokingly complaining about the use of racial or age-related terms like black or middle-aged as if that is somehow any more or less appropriate than the use of gender related terms like salesMAN? Personally, I think the whole focus on politically correct speech just makes the real issues of racism, ageism or sexism seem trivial and silly.

Circus mentioned an Aussie friend and their colorful way of talking. They have issues over there as to what is politically correct speech. Here's an amusing story about their use of the term "mate" that occurred just last week:
Don't Call Me Mate, Mate ... Oh, Orright Then, Mate
The Australian Parliament in Canberra was thrown into a kerfuffle yesterday as parliamentary security staff members were banned from using the Australian colloquialism, "mate," as a common form of address. The word is also used to describe a friend, acquaintance or ally.

Australian Prime Minister John Howard has, of course, called US President George W Bush his mate.

On the other side of the political spectrum, a Labor frontbencher was reported as saying: "I can't tell you how offended I am by this. I think, frankly, it's un-Australian."

Protest was widespread and after much hoo-ha, the ban on mate was, mate, withdrawn.

The real question here is whether the behavior of these judges and cops had anything really to do with their race, age or sex rather than just to the specific individuals involved. Do women judges tend to be any more of a pain than any other judge? If a white male cop gives you a ticket are you any less put out? All this comes down to really is just more venting about Gringas (or is that gringas?) because we are so fed up with them in general and because of the understandable frustration with this particular situation, which you have to admit could just as easily happened with a male judge.

I believe that Ch*ldren are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride to make it easier. Let the Ch*ldren's laughter remind us how we used to be.

Just like I expected, I forgot all about the 30 day period. On the 32nd day, I realized that I still have that to take care of. So took better pics and went to court the next morning, 3 days late (I don't think they noticed). I saw the gringa bitch from previous court date. Thank God some other nice lady called me and I bypassed the gringa bitch.

In the end, my $125 parking ticket was dismissed.

Lesson learned: American women have an attitude problem.
