Can you book on Southwest which was totally refundable (credit given) up to 15 min. prior to the flight. That was prior to COVID-19.[/quote]

Thanks for the tip. I will probably wait for another month before booking a flight. I think in the next 3-4 weeks we will get a better idea as to where things stand.

Southwest right now plans to start flying again on May 4th. Of course based on where we are that day. See below from their website:

Last flight from the United States to San Jose, Costa Rica & Liberia, Costa Rica will operate on Wednesday, March 18.
Last flight from San Jose, Costa Rica & Liberia, Costa Rica to the United States will operate on Sunday, March 22.
Our current plan is to resume normal operations on Monday, May 4.

No one is going to travel from the US to Costa Rica until probably July or August at the absolute earliest. Some people still don't see or accept how bad this pandemic is and will get. There will also likely be a second and more severe wave like other pandemics. Traveling to monger is over for the foreseeable future. Perhaps a year or more.

This morning, I was at a cafe in Los Yoses and started chatting up a UCR coed as she was doing her classes online. I tried to entice her back to my apartment with a little tuition assistance and comfort during this time of crisis. 8) She demurred saying that things would return to normal on April 13 once the tourists returned. :(

I told her that I had just read that

She asked me to cite my source. That's when I replied "Hey, would ya blow me?"

My cheek still hurts.

You also could have cited Ben Dover as your source for the information.

This is why I'm largely practicing nofap altogether, learning more technology, increasing spanish study time, working out and keto...

Basically "up" my value by the time I ... well, ... start paying for sex again.

You might as well sit things out, after all the clubs in Orlando have been practicing social distancing for years even without this virus.

Yep, got the email yesterday. Cancelled and will re-book with the flight credit when and if the crisis is resolved.

Yeah, Orlando.. and Miami and Los Angeles and New York and Seattle ( don't get me started on the famous Seattle Freeze ). Omaha was better social-wise. But 6 months was enough time for sure. And Boise wasn't bad actually, mujer-wise ( and the best weather out of any place I've been )

I was chatting with a chica on Whatsapp and she told me that this quarantine will last until April 12 and she can go back to work on Apr 13.

I told her it may be extended looking at where things stand right now. Also I told her we won’t be coming down on Apr 13 because CR may still have closed borders until who-knows-when (May be May or June or longer ?). So she was very sad.

I mean she is 22 years old and I don’t think she did any schooling more than grade 6. It’s sad to see them how their little perspectives are compared to things happening at large.

Anyways I have not been this depressed (not clinically, metaphorically) visiting this board ever. Now all I come here to check is more Coronavirus updates. Gosh hope this ends soon !!!!

According to an article in TicoTimes, over 40% of the CR restaurants have closed and laid off over 100,000 workers.
https://ticotimes.net/2020/03/30/more-t ... ants-close

In my neighborhood (Amon) most of the established restaurants are still going, but with limited hours and relying heavily on delivery services. This includes il gattopardo (Taormina), Tournant, and Cafe Rojo. There are vehicle restrictions 10pm to 5am and 8pm to 5pm on weekends. UberEats and Rappi are going well as is Glovo which will bring things from grocery and department stores.

The Caja has instituted home delivery of medications and has also automatically renewed existing prescriptions. I went ahead and topped up my insulin supply via Clinica Biblica who also offer online ordering and free home delivery. They chatted with me in English via WhatsAp to confirm the details. They used a delivery service called Moovin. Once I downloaded the app to my phone, the Moovin delivery person could see my location (via GPS) and I could track them in real time from the hospital to my front door. This eliminated any street address confusion. The insulin, which has to be refrigerated arrived in sealed in a bag with ice. Moovin will also do concierge shopping for any (legal) item.

Lots of Tinder matches, but some are trying to hold to pre-crisis pricing. I have one regular who has a fever, I'll see her in a couple of weeks after she recovers. I have reduced my sessioning for the time being and part of the deal is we both take our temperature before she comes into my apartment, then we take a hot shower together with lots of soap. We also use alcohol based mouthwash before and after contact. I am keeping tonsil-hockey to a minimum.
