I do enjoy people viewing travestis in Latin America - its a turn on! I was in CR 10 yrs ago and had a good time - I was a bit crazy and walked the streets at night drunk - I am older and wiser now

What are some good (safe) places to see Travesti/Shemale/Transsexuals in San Jose Centro? Tijuana had some strip joints I went to - can't say I enjoyed that. Are there any such strip joints there in San Jose.

they occupy the streets of barrio Amon at night pretty much anywhere outside of the parks and on the corners
was never attracted so at the most I gave a "hey" and walked by them
never saw them in any of the local puteros although I did see an occasional older traveler w a younger tico in a hotel
can't help you w the policies of any of the sponsors of this site
also can't say anything about the safety aspect
definitely a gay bar or two so hopefully someone pm's you w the information
as many of them as there are around it would make sense there was some sort of club
then again I always figured that's why the girls were indoors and they were on the streets

I have been a bit sick since arrival and just have been resting.

But on my second night I had a few drinks for Dutch courage and went out to venture.

First to del ray where I felt like am instant celebrity and then walking around the streets behind del rey up to Avenue 9.

I found nothing and had almost walked back to my hotel when that urge came up.. 'are you giving up?'

I flagged a taxi and told him to take me on a city tour of the travesti spots..it was 1am.

For the next 20 - 30 minutes he took me to several hot spots on the street (4k taxi fare). Wow. HOT. most offered everything for 15+5k (service+ room). One 80k+20k ..

Taxi driver was amazing..did all the negotiations with me in super style with loads of charisma and confidence. Entire experience I was a bit on the edge but was all very safe in the end.

Over the next few days I though about it and decided that most likely I will not indulge with travestis. I used to indulge previously (including crazy times in my last trip to San Jose almost a decade ago), mainly because I spent a long time in Asia and don't find the girls there attractive at all. I am almost 2m and built like the rock so prefer them tall also. And SKINNY. For me latinas are #1 attractive girls in the world.. And MPs are cheap and safe enough here.. I will probably just stick to them all the way through.
