On rainy days, I vastly prefer Lincoln Plaza over San Pedro Mall. At Lincoln Plaza, the Cinepolis (English subtitles) has a nice coffee bar area. There is also a Starbucks by the main entrance. Lots of places to sit, drink coffee, and waste an afternoon. Good WiFi and some full size rocking chairs at several places. An inside Mas x Menos to pick up a few snacks for the hotel room. Large Uber friendly overhang (porte cochere) unlike San Pedro. (c2000 Uber from Taormina)
Good recommendations. I would add Parque Sabana on Sunday mornings to watch some local baseball games.
