What American companies, especially financial services companies, operate call centers in Costa Rica?

Are there any lower to middle management or training jobs available for Americans?

We get it. You got bit by the expat bug, and now you're trying to figure out how can you afford to indulge your dream by moving to Paradise (i.e. Costa Rica or ColUmbia) so you can drown in a sea of free Latin pu*sy dying to phuck your Gringo blue eyed ass for free!

You got great advice from Netgems in your other thread. If you have a USD income stream of at least 2K per month and know how to live cheaply, come on down! Otherwise... you're better off staying where you are and visiting when you can.

I’m working in the US for a few more years. If I retire to Latin America, it makes more sense for me to return to the US occasionally to work for decent money than it would to work in Costa Rica for peanuts.

I was inquiring for a female friend who is a senior trainer at call centers for a large American multinational. Her company is considering opening a call center in Costa Rica. She would also consider switching companies to get get a foreign assignment. She has many years left before retirement, and is mainly interested in living and working foreign to get the US income tax break and save money.

My mistake, sir. Apologies.

One tip for your friend: check out the Costa Rican expat groups on Facebook. There are several active ones where she can pose your / her question and get a lot of different perspectives on employment opportunities, not just the monger POV.

I hate to be a wet blanket but even in her authority position, it's unlikely she could find a job here. If the existing company sent her to open one up, that's a diff story, CR allows that, but there's lots of strict laws and rules the company has to follow here.

The reason I know these things is I did work here 10 years ago actually running an internet gambling center, but they were a rogue company with total disregard for the law, that's why I fit in perfectly...

Miami, thanks for the compliment. :)

I too, feel compassion for those poor individuals afflicted with the blue eye syndrome, they're rather odd looking individuals and don't tan well. As you know, they have problems with the sun in places like Florida and Costa Rica.

For decades, those of us with brown, hazel or green eyes have heaped abuse on them for their misfortune, and they have endured chants of "Go back to Sweden!!!" or "Hey, baby eyes!!!" throughout the USA. :x

I agree, perhaps it's better they remain in the colder areas of the USA in the northern regions where people are used to them, and tolerate their deformities. When they get sunburns, the combination of that ghostly pale skin now with splotches of burned red patches and those eyes make them hideous...

I know of many chicas who have told them "Yes, I will do bbbj, and these other things you request, but if you want dfk, PLEASE, ONLY if you keep your eyes closed!!!"

They have a hard lot in life...let's take pity on them, but many of them tell me they do understand if we look the other way while we hold conversations with them...
