What American companies, especially financial services companies, operate call centers in Costa Rica?

Are there any lower to middle management or training jobs available for Americans?

Some high tech companies, but most have to hire by law Costa Rica citizens, N Americans are not allowed to work here unless they have residency and even then it's difficult and low pay by our standards. $1,000 a month at a call center is good pay down here for Ticos.

The exceptions are if you are already employed by the company in the USA and they send you down to open a center or train or whatever.

Just about all you can get are high pressure high stress long hours at internet gambling joints or other fraudulent companies like "sweepstakes" and many are operating illegally and most are straight commission.

They used to bust the owners and upper management, now, they bust the lowly callers as well to send a message, don't come here and do this, and they can send them back to USA and block their passport. :x :x :x

Tough to live here unless you're wealthy or on social security or some type of guaranteed income from the states over a g note per month, unless you look good in a skirt and shave your legs...

At worse you can survive here on about $1,500 to $2,000 a month. You can rent a cheap apt, buy food, get some poonage 1x a week, cover the basics, but if an emergency happens and you don't have savings, you're shit outta luck...
