Yes, the Hotel Barcelo Palacio.

I like to "wife up" at the Barcelo and have stayed there several times. The pool is very nice but also very cool. It takes a few minutes to get used to the water but it makes me feel really great after being in the chilly water about 20 minutes. They are chica friendly but a $60 fee.

The Italian food at the Martino is very good with a nice view.

Pools in SJ are notoriously cold. Most don’t have heaters and it doesn’t get quite hot enough to really enjoy. I’ve often wondered about the indoor pool at the holiday inn. Intercontinental has a nice pool if you have the big bucks.
