A few years back I booked my trip the weekend prior to the Annual Halloween Party thinking I would be there for the the Pre- Halloween but when I arrived I was informed that it's always two weekends before the main party.
Now I notice it's the weekend before.
Is it different each year?

You are correct that most years we have the Pre-Halloween Party (Angels & Demons) two weeks before the Halloween Party. This year due to sponsors offers that were available on the 3rd week of the month we have it one week before. We usually announce the pre-Halloween Party two months in advance each year for hotel room booking purposes.

Thanks for the update. I booked my flight in May and the room in February. I had called in February and was told the pre- Halloween party would be two weeks before. I fully understand why it was changed, I'll wait a little later next year.

Sorry Jimbo... I understand it turned out to be bad info. Another problem this year is that we had to book our Halloween Party early because of it having to fall on the weekend. As everyone knows Halloween actually is on October 31st every year but we do not want to have a Halloween Party on Wednesday night because of mid-week means much lower participation. So it was two contributing factors that caused our error on the February phone call info. We will try to do better in the future on this info.
