I Just booked again, had an amazing time in March of this year so I am headed back September 5th Through the 9th.

I stayed at the Sportmen's Lodge last time, and it was great. This time I wanted to give the All inclusive rate at La Amistad a try. Tried to just book a Penthouse so I hope I get the affirmative message soon.

Well La Amistad was not available for a Penthouse but the Management kindly set me up at Castillo with a Penthouse. It looks really nice too. Pops gave me a tour of the Castillo last time I was there, very cool open air feeling at least in the bar and restaurant. Can't wait to try out a room there.

The 3 penthouse rooms at the Castillo are spacious and nice for entertaining. I usually stay in P1-Zoo. However, be advised that it has open air at the top where the windows are not enclosed it just has kind of like a chicken wire... Bugs can get in during the night, but it hasn't been a big problem... Although I have been awakened a few times from the sound of some stupid bug banging into a wall or the ceiling multiple times. Another tip I would give you would be to take your balcony furniture inside and place it on your stairwell so that the frequent rains during the green season don't waterlog the cushions... That way you will still be able to take a chica up to the rooftop and have a dry place to sit in the evening, provided it's not raining at that time. I've never had a problem with hot water in the zoo Penthouse either. I don't like the third floor due to the stairs only...however, I do need some exercise. The stairs can be a little tricky for Chicas in ultra high heels and the staircase closest to the pool table in the open bar area is generally for emergency use only as it is not only very slippery after a rain but the stairs get very thin or narrow and it's quite dangerous especially for the chicas. Internet is a bit iffy especially on the third floor. I haven't had great luck with a consistently good signal but again I'm not in Costa Rica staying at the hotel Castillo in the penthouse Suites just for Internet lol.

P.S. take advantage of the all-inclusive rate, while it lasts. It is not available if you book through a third party or if you use your CRT discount... Perhaps it's the single greatest deal in history...$10 for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, beer, wine, well brand liquor...no brainier. Not to mention you can also go to La Amistad as they have reciprocal programs because of the same ownership.

Yep The management fixed me up with a great all inclusive rate for a Penthouse.

I'm excited only a month away.

Hit me up if you will be there September 5th-9th.
