A couple of you have a hard time understanding the rules of this board, i.e. politics. It is one thing to discuss the law and its implication for the hobby and our lives, but to bring in specific politicians and notions of left or right, is just divisive. Plenty of other places for that.
AGREED
We should all abide by this. if you remember, the board management had a vote awhile back, should we have a political section, most of us said no. We can pontificate our political preferences and blast the politicians who we oppose on Facebook. I know, I get banned regularly for a week or so.
I did have to get my little tweak in...

will avoid in the future.
I've seen good friends and family members lose it and fight each other over political differences, I've had a couple so called "friends" unfriend me on facebook and in real life, good riddance.
I've seen some guys on this forum squabble on occasion over petty differences, I mean, I've read posts where guys were swinging punches over wearing cargo shorts, which I unashamedly and proudly support, by the way, but if you saw my majestic calf muscles you would understand why I want to show them off (Remember, two inches below the knee is enforced)...but most of us want to be friends because we share this verboten hobby and can give each other advice, recommendations, whatever.
We don't care about our differences of opinion on things in the USA, we focus on our hobby here, so far, in spite of one overly enthusiastic member, is still available to us.
if we bring political differences into the mix, potential good friends and wing men will be fighting each other.
Some of us will be intentionally giving bad advice to each other and tricking our political opposites into choosing nasty hoes with fake recommendations, while we sit back and laugh at their fate.
See what can happen????
If there's political issues in the states that affect our fun here, then gloves off and let's have at it, but otherwise...
Shhhhhhhh.....
