I know about the price. Here's where I need expert advice please:

1) Will there be any problem whatsoever here or other 4-5 Star resorts bringing multiple guests?

2) Do they need to register? Are they treated like guests/GF's or hookers?

3) Differences between Marriott, Zephyr Palace, and other top hotels?

4) How do the Ticas from Cocal respond to an invitation to these hotels? Again, I realize the cash expectations will be higher.

5) What about transportation and safety? Any issues going back and forth Marriott to Cocal?

6) What other factors need to be considered?

All suggestions much appreciated.

2) Do they need to register? Are they treated like guests/GF's or hookers? Cocal chicas? Like hookers. Girls introduced through their "Tia's" that cater to richy rich Los Suenos types? Everyone is already paid off (couple of grand a night "school teacher" types).

3) Differences between Marriott, Zephyr Palace, and other top hotels?

4) How do the Ticas from Cocal respond to an invitation to these hotels? Again, I realize the cash expectations will be higher. They are going to think they hit the mother load.
Big bucks and demand extra for the distance. It's not a simple place to go to / leave - IIRC there's a road in that winds around before you get to the hotel - it's a gated community too (condos,
marina, golf course). She's not walking out the lobby door on to the street.

5) What about transportation and safety? Any issues going back and forth Marriott to Cocal? When I was there most people in the condos had private drivers (vans) but reception will call you a cab that's allowed in the road to Los Suenos.

6) What other factors need to be considered? Ask your private driver if he knows a "Tia" who can help. Pandering is illegal in CR (as is pimping) but there you go. Anything at Los Suenos is going to have to be discreet and greased.

All suggestions much appreciated.

My limited experience hanging with some richy riches at the condos is that their driver (actually the owner of the transport company) discreetly vetted them as 'serious' (rich as Phuck) to his 'tia' who then texted some 'schoolteacher / lawyer / doctor who only does this once a year with wealthy gentlemen who are lonely' pictures with a quote of several hundred per hour and these guys hired the ladies to sit around for a couple of days and be quiet eye candy.

The girls showed up dressed like Los Suenos guests in one of the transport company vans and security acted liked they lived there.

Typico playa del tico. Volcanic sand. White sand is the exception on both coasts.

I stayed there once. Brought my own chica from San Jose. Great hotel and experience but every single time we came back in the staff there would force the girl to show proof she was staying with me. Often had to go to the room with staff and show her suitcase. Def not real chica friendly.

Great advice guys. Thank you. Sounds like more hassle than a 5 Star Hotel would be worth. Let me change the subject since it's my thread. If given the choice between the best possible room available at Cocal vs one of the sister property condos, Vista Mar, I assume there's no comparison and the condos are nicer. Right? Would you opt for a nice condo at Vista Mar or the Penthouse at Cocal? How close are they from each other? Walking distance?

I'm not familiar with a penthouse at the Cocal, I believe I stayed in the biggest room they got, the junior suite.
The condo will cost you hundreds more. If it's just you the junior suite will do, if you're in a group you'll need the Vista Mar condo as they have multiple beds & bedrooms. The 2 properties are adjacent to each other

2 or more people, opt for the condos, they are significant step up from the Cocal in quality....and you have a great view from 3rd floor and up at the action at the Cocal pool / bar area...

Vista mar also has a private pool you can bring chicas back to, its between the tower and the Cocal...if you tire from walking 50 steps from VM to the Cocal, then choose the Cocal :)
