Anyone, besides me, notice that the first “Dry Month” in San Jose isn’t so “Dry”? Guess I better pack an umbrella. Forecast shows rain for the 26-30. Probably just afternoon showers.

It's been different.

December is the start of the dry season and we had a Tico "cold snap" mid-month (I bought a jacket in Cartago!).

This month? First the outer Fringe of the artic front that hit the US east coast. Then a cold front hit yesterday. It's 75ish and it should be 90 (here in the selva - not the Central Valley).

Yes, last year was the wettest and coldest year in history. I think this year we will probably have snow.

What media source. CR has lots of micro climates, so which micro climate are you referring to. Searching for truth.
I read many CR news sites everyday and never read anything about last yr being the coldest or the wettest.

They are talking about may last year

CR is getting part of the cold front effecting North America and the hurricanes that hit the gulf this year. Not a normal rainy season or summer so far
