I really enjoyed my stays at HLH years ago and planning on heading back soon. I am looking for something similar where the ladies are onsite but it's not as crazy as the Sportsmans. Any ideas would be appreciated.

As MM3 says Hotel Little Havana should meet your needs and Zona2 is right next door.
Also if you bring chicks back from HDR or SL or Hotel Taormina there is no chica fee.

Does anyone know what the hourly rate is these days? I remember it being about $40 since I was staying there at the time, but it might have been more.

I don't think the current HLH is a pension - it's a hotel. Next door is what you seek (Zona II) or one block west.

The girls at the bar in HLH usually charge $60/hour.
If you are not staying there you would have to take them some where. There are no short time room rentals there.
If you are staying at HLH then you take them to your room. No extra fee to the hotel.

How are the rooms at HLH? King beds? A/C, hot water, etc?

There are 8 rooms. All have A/C, hot water and wi-fi and safes. I think all have king beds. Some rooms have no windows. Some rooms have a fridge. Breakfast is not included. Kitchen hours are erratic. Best to eat out.
Cash only in dollars, no credit cards.

Check with the desk at HLH. They may have a short-term room rate that is less than the overnight rate.

If they have vacant rooms available, they would be wise to rent them for a couple of hours. I think that they're at least wise about that.

As I recall, the asian lady at reception, who runs the place, told me about a short-term room rate several months ago.

I can't remember exactly, because I was asking simply out of curiosity.

They don't have separate short-term rooms. If they offer you a short-term rate, you will get into their regular hotel rooms. They are very nice, and very clean.

Call the desk, or stop in to ask about this.
