This will be my 3rd visit to CR; It is a business trip but I definitely plan on setting aside some time to appreciate the beauty and spirit that is the Working Girl Tica.

If any of you guys will be around on these dates especially Fri & Sat 10/27, 10/28 and want to link up for some sports, politics, mongering talk or drinks drop me a pm... I plan on spending a few days in San Jo before doing some sightseeing and ultimately beaching myself somewhere nice.

With that said - Can anyone tell me if there is any action to be had in the Puerto Viejo area? Or for that matter is there anywhere on the Carribean side that is akin to Jaco? Even just a little bit??

I visited the HDR in 2003 and then again in 2007. Back then I thought I was in Heaven! From what I can gather however, it seems that lately things have changed juuuuuuuust a bit... I'll stop in to gauge for myself, and maybe catch a game but am really looking forward to checking out the SL after what I have read here... seems like lots of events going on and overall just a good crowd..

You are going to be there for Halloween party and it's a great time with most people in costume. You will have a great time and if you get in costume it will be better. the Sportsmens, Zona II, Del Rey and Key Largo are all fun spots for Halloween Saturday Night. You will be surprised as to how much the Costa Ricans like Halloween! I might run into you I will be in a Cub's Uniform and having as much fun as I possibly can!

I'll be down for for 27 and 28. Maybe all see you. I am going to try to hit all the parties but not sure if that is possible. Too bad Halloween is only 1 night.

Where are you considering staying for the 27th and 28th...? I was thinking of getting an airbnb around San Pedro, then coming by bus downtown, checking out the gulch for myself, and then when it comes to mongering getting a room at the place that has the most action for a night or two...

Anyone out there have any thoughts, please let me know. . .

I'll be at La Amistad. I will definitely be stopping at both HDR and SL. Those are supposed to be the best parties not sure about the HDR anymore.

Been going to HDR since 2005, I keep hearing stories of how dead it is, but I have friends living there and still keep pulling gfe hotties, many afternoon girls great performers and not demanding cien. Every time I go I always stay at HDR and always find several fabulous finds.

Lots of guys are saying 'Used to be 200 girls a night, now there's only 50!!!" Out of the 50 I always find 5 to 10 to my liking and after interviewing a couple, I always find a gem...

SL, hit or miss, if there's 10 or more there, always a couple worth doing, and mood there is a little more relaxed than HDR...

if you're super picky, then take the time to search any of the apx 50 mp's or go to a strip club in the evening , one way or another you're going to find something...
