I've offered a respectful dissent of opinion. If this isn't what you wanted, then why not just PM your situation privately to a couple of friends?

Okay, I already apologized for the "Grandpa" line which may have been perceived as "mean spirited" ... but was not meant that way. It was definitely not presented with malice, your honor. To have been presented with malice, I would need some prior motivation, such as having a personal friendship or enmity (sp?) with LV. But I don't know LVSteve outside of this thread. So I can assure you... I don't hold malice.

But more importantly... who do I have to Phuck around here to get somebody to buy me a free taxi?

Probably the best way to solve this difference in opinions is to let it die. Everyone has a valid point to make along with having their way of doing things. Since LVSteve has been a friend for several years I can't get into this one without being partial so shut my mouth.

Rolex....you have chosen for a handle the name of one of the classiest pieces of jewelry. Well,I'm sorry to say that in this instance you haven't shown much class. Since I too know both Steve and his "friend" (is that an OK description for you?)I am biased towards him in this matter so I won't expound on my feelings too much. My issue with Rolex here is not what he says,but how he says it. It was discussions like this that brought down the old CRS board and I don't want it to happen again. Admin is doing a good job in drawing a line where it has to stop without restricting free speech. Let's all go back to having fun and showing respect for other posters so long as they respect you.

Yes, Rolex, there's always an audience out there beside the person you're "talking" to, and we flinch everytime we hear flame-style words. Could be me in the crosshairs next (has been enough times, elsewhere, when I wasn't as careful about picking arguments.)

Maybe you're new to Internet communities, and maybe part of the fun in these is cutting loose with whatever's on your mind. But then the consequences linger, and we all have too much fun here (and in CR) to see it brought down. So, we're just kind of washing your consequences away for ya, ok? Done.
