Can somebody remind me of the name of the Italian restaurant in Jaco. I believe it is south of the cocal. I heard it was really good I have not had a chance to eat there yet. And if anyone else have some recommendations on any other up scale type restaurants with good food

There is a really expensive (and actually pretty good as I remember) upscale Italian restaurant at the marina in Los Suenos. Ristorante Lanterna.

It is 'upscale' - unless your concept is that Olive Garden is 'upscale'.

I believe you are referring to Amancio's South of Cocal on the main road. I've always had great food there.
