What if you walked that route holding a boombox (or a bluetooth speaker ) blasting Rick Astley's "Never Gonna to Give you Up", and dance-walking to it? I think that would create a repulsion/confusion shield that would provide a safe passage.

hey, I'm coming solo first time Sept. 2 -5. Would be cool to grab a drink. Haven't decided between Jaco or San jose.

SJ better for 1st timers, plenty of options close by.... Jaco is better with an experienced wingman for your first time there, unless you want to just dive right in to the shark tank

For such a short trip, I would just stay in San Jose. And you better make your reservations soon because the popular hotels will fill up fast being the Labor Day holiday.

Better looking, yes. Better service, Not likely to find in Jaco on a short trip of a few days.
If you value the former, head to Jaco. And the latter, head to SJO. There are plenty of hot chicas in SJO still.

Ah, well service is definitely more important. Logs are no fun. Hmm. Considering the hassle of getting to Jaco and the $100 cab fare there and back, maybe I'll just stay in SJO then. Trying to keep this trip real cheap so I can go back to Thailand again in December .

First time and short trip save the money and stay in San Jose to get a feel for how the girls work. Get ahold of Pops and go for a walk with him you will be in good company and he has a nose for the honey's....... Definitly hit Alcazar, do not expect the 10's, but you should find something. If you drink or are with a group, spend the 40.00 to get a table front and center of the stage. You get your 40.00 back in drinks and is well worth the show in my opinion. We go with friends and while they are getting their rocks off my fiance and I get to be entertained by the girls dancing so the wait is not a problem.

Decided to become CRT VIP and stay at the SL. Thanks for your help all. See you there!
