What you are saying also does not make sense. I go to meet friends at the place and take my fiance with me. We are not going to engage the girls, but we are going to drink and hang out with our friends who may or may not play with the girls on site. I have to pay 10.00 upon entrance to get my fiance in to spend money at the establishment ????. I can tell you what would happen in that case. My girl would wait outside while I went in and retrieved my friends. We would then proceed to go somewhere else and never set foot in said establishment again. Not smart business practice in my mind.

Zona2 has a problem with the way it is now perceived by regular mongers to CR.
The girls are similar to those at the gringo MPs but they charge more.
The numbers that I see are like this. At the MPs an hour is $40 and extras are $10. At Zona2 an hour is $60 and the extras are $20.
At $60 to $80 you can have girls from SL or HDR or HLH in the comfort of your room and have a more enjoyable time. You are not in an MP atmosphere.
To me this makes Zona2 not worth visiting and I do not care to sit at the bar.
These are my numbers and observations. YMMV :D :D :D

I hope that Dangerman can clear up wassup with the $10 issues.
We need to hear it directly from him....soon.
I hope it ends up being like SL and The Morazan and many other chica-friendly hotels.

Hello Gentleman:

Sorry for any misunderstanding cause in resent months for the change in administration. Let me assure you that there is NO fee for bringing an outside girl to Zona II, there also no entrance fee for guys or girls to come in and just have a drink or a good time at our Bar Danger Zone. It's our wish to bring back the party atmosphere that we all lived and enjoyed when the establishment was called Zona Blue.
Our rooms are now divided into 3 Price Tears:
- STANDARD: $30 half hour and $50 for one hour.
- PREMIUM: $40 half hour and $65 for one hour.
- 50 SHADES ROOM: $99 for the hour. In this room you will find a full equipped bath area for the girls to give you a "SOAPY", a quite pleasurable experience in which you are massaged in oils and soap. A full size Arabic bed and a Dungeon full with Sex Toys and costumes to fulfill your fantasies.
This is it! No other hidden fees, entrance fees (for guys or girls)!
Any questions, let me know.

Dangermann.

Thanks Dangerman.

I could see they're pricing themselves out of the market. Walk a couple of blocks and save enough for lunch and beers. Still good for the cien boys that have no clue.

Come on now have you been over to Calle 6 and actually had a session?

It's only about 76.8% as bad as people say. You can get toenail fungus anywhere! In my case I think the facilities at Relax were the actual culprit. It will forever remain a mystery.

A long long time ago, on my first trip to CR, Zona Blue was crazy fun. Funky Blue building bottom of The Gulch. I loved that place. Good memories...

Over the years..., through the many manifestations the building has gone through, I always stop by with my wingmen and poke my head in for a drink, as it is a part of my walking tour. I recommend every monger do the same...

I will be the first to admit, I get confused which side is called what sometimes...but I'm an older monger and it's just one of many places I patronize on my trips. Over the years, at least one of the doors is usually open and we check it out inside for any talent. Just like any MP (SL or HDR), if there are chicas we find attractive we stay and someone has a session!

I just bring this up because it's a great location and easy to pop your head in. I try to support every business that caters to us mongers. :D

The "incidental fee" discussion is beaten to death imho.

The wingman and newbies I bring, always get the "cien" talk and "just say no" talk on the plane ride down.... But the reality is, an extra $10 for this or $20 for that (guest fee or towel fee) in the heat of the moment has never stopped any of my buddies nor concerned them the least bit. We are here to MONGER. A week in Disneyland for us guys. My buddies want a good time! And trust me, each does their best to negotiate the session up front and at the market price.

I've never met a monger that set out to pay "extra" for a chica or said "yes" when the chica asked for $300 for an hour at the HDR....

but I read the forum and hear tell it happens. Stupid is, stupid does.

That is one of the major benefits of being a CRT member...to be able to learn the lay of the land and have a better experience and avoid being taken advantage of - by anyone! So while I love the open discussion and banter about all topics on this board...well, you get it.

But there seems be a lot of mongers with champagne tastes on a beer budget on this Forum. While I understand each mongers budget is unique....seasoned veterans know a good romp can be had for $25 or less. Heck, I hear tell some locals have regulars for less than $10 and it comes with a house cleaning! But that is a different situation all together...

For those on a budget, there are things you can do to offset this monetary handicap without sacrificing your experience. Learn Spanish, read 100+ hours of this forum, cultivate relationships with expats and locals 8) , go to MPs outside the gulch. All of these will enhance your experience, save you money, and level the playing field for those with a tight budget.

I enjoy the open discussions on this board -

Just saying.....

With the rumors of the HDR changing ownership, I just thought I would chime in to simply state that from a Gringo perspective, Costa Rica is a great place to Monger and the Gulch and The Cocal make it about as easy as humanly possible for the "Peter Griffins" of the world to fulfill their fantasies with young chicas of all shapes and looks.

Is it expensive- not really, unless you didn't read this forum or can burn money and don't care. Can it be inexpensive- yes it can, but you have to put some effort into it.

I'm not suggesting anyone overpay or tip bad service. What I am saying is, we have a pretty damn good thing in the Gulch and extra $1 here, or there, to help business owners stay afloat that cater to us....well, you get it.

Thank you for reading. I hope my intent was clear. :

If you are retired in Costa Rica and are on a pension - I apologize in advance for my reply
