There is a treasure trove of fantastic threads and info on this board. You wouldn't know it from the shell of it's former self that CRT is today... repleat with a bunch of "hotdogs" who fancy themselves a comedian. By all means cook up a BIG Pot of Java and settle in for a few hours to foray into the archives. There are some incredible stories and reports, especially pre 2013 when Tommy sold out. Look into posts by Jazz Musician, Get Rhythm, Paco Loco, RBC 100, Blue Devil, Brown Cow, Prolio, Ron Medellin, I could go on and on. Go and click on Members and then hit posts twice. The list will come up ranking the members with the most posts. You can click on the handle and search their posts.

There have been many discussions about the changes in CR from the past few years, just a few notable ones, the opening of Crocs in Jaco, the changes at the Castillo, Dunn Inn, Taomarina, Freebird, Zona II and Hotel Little Havanna, the ongoing slow death of the Key Largo, some changes at a few of the local MP's, some detailed info on the strip club scene.
The hasn't been much updating about new bars and restaurants or significant closures, or reviews.
You are not going to get weekly updates on a location unless it is warranted.

You are not going to find reviews of specific girls ( a few exceptions) here anymore and very few guys are taking the time to document their journey for a variety of reasons. If you want pictures, that matter has been beaten to death and I don't see a rebirth.
It is a maturing situation like it or not.

On a lighter note :
Please do not ask " Can i take the bartenders at DR and SL up to my room ? "

" Can i take the bartenders at DR and SL up to my room ? "

Its better when they ask you out.............and priceless when you tell them "No", in front of the other bartenders.

I know you're an RD guy so you'll appreciate this. I've had that happen exactly ONE time in RD. I did not have the presence (aka sobriety) in the moment to say no. And I'm damn glad I didn't!

Granted it's one data point, but if a bartender asks go for it. If nothing else you can say you did!

There are a ton of new MP, pensiones or Salas that I have never seen mentioned here. Some are very good and in the daytime have 8 -10 girls rather than 4 or 5 you see in some of the more popular ones. I can think of at least 5 in Heredia, one in Aleujela, two in Rohmoser, one in Sabana, the revival of Koma Sutra. I don't pretend to know a majority them but many of those the old list are gone or should be. Someone who hasn't been here for a while would have no way to find these places.
