Hi all - new to CRT. This board is awesome with the wealth of information and advice. I'm planning a trip in late April. 6 of us are staying in a house with a swimming pool in Jaco. I heard that ticas drive by to the house during the day to see if the guys would like to party and hang out. Anyone have experience with this? I haven't seen any posts on this topic. I'm curious how this works and if anyone has any valuable info. Thanks!

I do not know about them driving by as most walk or take a pirata. If you want to hang out in the front all day have some beer and watch them go by and point at your beer then to them. Personally I would just go walk along the main drag and they will smell the fresh meat. You will be approached. If not just say hola to any girl that is old enough and you will know soon enough if it is game on. Other than that head over to Cocal about 8pm and have at it.

Thanks. My friend went last time and said there were cats full of Ticas that would stop by the houses that I think they somehow know is open for business. We can a security guard that would keep any unwanted guests out. We can check out the talent and let anyone in. The Ticas seem to do this during the day/afternoon. Wonder if anyone else has experienced this before.

What would be the possible benefit of choosing from such a limited selection?

Good point. But it sounded like you could have a few gals hang out, drink, grope and party with for Dew hours. You would need to tip them. But not too sure how it works. Like if you need to negotiate up from or tip them when you want to boot them out and thank them for their time. I assume you can negotiate more while they are there. But again trying to understand this offering. We will get one of those 7 BR mansions.

if you are staying with one of the services like JACO VIP etc, the house should come with a driver and a fixer to help arrange anything you need... thats probably what your friend experienced...

it really depends on how good the fixer is, ive had one that was great and one that sucked balls... YMMV

Yeah that's what we're using after confirming. Any feedback/suggestions on these folks?

the guy that did a great job as a fixer no longer works in jaco any more... so i cant vouch for any current guys they have working for them...

i would just recommend good communication as to what your party wants and make the fixer work for you, as with anything in life a passive aggressive approach, would just lead to them being lazy or full of assumptions
