I left the gultch, at 9:30AM Monday morning for the airport used a taxi. Traffic not too bad, arrived at the airport by 11:20AM. No rain, some traffic at the bridge. It was ok, but give youself pelnty of time.

 , it sounds terrible. 1hr. 50minutes for a trip that usually is about 1/2 hr. at most

I have had it take 2 hours before the bridge construction (weekday evening rush hour).

Had SANSA decide not to fly and took 2 hours to get back to LA.

HAHA! Try living in L.A. and you will appreciate ONLY 1 1/2 hours to get from A to B.

To add to the mix, left for airport Fri at 5 AM. Half hour delay at the bridge. Depends on the time and whether you are in a taxi or private car. I hope this is over by end of March, but it is in fact, Costa Rica so it probably won't happen by then.

Just got back from SJ. Got in on Wed 2/1 & the Uber driver I had stayed in touch with met me at the airport. It took us about 45-50 min to get to the gulch. This was about 2:30 - 3:00 pm-ish!! He used an alternate route which completely bypassed the bridge construction. No problem getting back to Adobe RAC the next day at High Noon.

Saturday morning at 2 am it took 22 minutes to get from the airport to Castillio. Cost 14843 colones on the maria. There was no traffic.

Monday morning at 11 am it took 32 minutes to get from Castillio to the airport. Ride was comped by the hotel and I gave the driver a nice tip. Traffic before the bridge was backed up to the MV bus station about a mile from the bridge. Traffic going into town was backed up to the Hard Rock Cafe; about 2 miles.

It is scheduled to re-open March 7th, but I would expect that date to slip to the end of March.

No. It is expanded to 6 lanes. 3 are open. Depending on the time of day, 2 one way and 1 the other.
