HI everyone, I am lookin forward to my first trip on labor day weekend. I have read a lot in the threads about the SL and the Presidente. I have chosen to stay at the Delray a while back and made my reservations and just want to make sure that is where i should start off my CR experience. I know this has been covered in the past, but a lot of our members have been stayin at the SL and Presidente and might have updated insight. thanks Jake

HDR is fine for a first trip, especially if it isn't too long. You might as well see the BM at all hours. When you get to the point that the noise is enough of a bother that you don't get the sleep you wanted, and you haven't gone down to see what is going on at 4AM all trip, you've probably graduated to somewhere else.

You are lucky they had space on that weekend.
Good choice for a first trip.
Have fun, see you there.

And good thinking to have joined the VIP.

My first trip also and I have booked the DR for 3 nights. My question is the "delux room with balcony" for $100.00 plus tax, worth the difference in price over a standard room?? Any input will be appreciated. Thanks, BHynes.

The good news is that room will be on the top floor. You will not have the pleasure of hearing the casino/bar all night long. But, I can assure you that you will hear the sweet melody of car alarms going off all night long.

PS. Veelee good post.

The Del Rey is great, but they dont have a restaurant on site anymore and the chica fee of 10 per visit adds up.

I havn't stayed at the Delrey, however I have stayed at the Presidente Jr suite deluxe. Most Excellent!! :D Also stayed at the SL also a very good choice, close to new fantasy and Zona Blue, you almost don't have to leave the place as the talent is starting to show up there.
