How far away do they look from finishing the bar and restaurant area?

In Costa Rica, it's impossible to comply with any timetable . . . especially for construction. And it's more unpredictable when dealing with government permitting.

They use TICO TIME in Costa Rica. Puda Vida.

Tiempo Tico. Sometimes early. Usually late. Never on time.

I was there last weekend. The bar area is just a concrete floor with some plumbing stub-ups for sewer. There is no millwork, in the bar area such as cabinets and counters. Two guys were working in the area sanding doors to be hung who knows where. A good crew could knock out the finishes in a week or two but I didn't notice any progress over the weekend. I did not go into the kitchen so no comment on that area.

I was there last weekend too. The penthouses are amazing. The balcony has great views of the mountains during the day and city lights at night. The couches double as recliners. The king size bed is very comfortable. The free breakfast is cooked fresh to order. The bathroom is huge. The staff is incredibly friendly. This is easily the best deal in san jose right now. Great way to impress the chicas.
