I recommend the hotel in the link above...it's non only "guest friendly" it's pretty much designed for us Mongers. They allow up to two visitors at a time...sex swings in the room...etc etc...

They can also arrange airport pickup and drop off...

I would like to add Areca lodge just outside of LK Metro in Pattaya. I think you will have difficulty finding any hotels there that will not accept guests. As for Bangkok I like the Dynasty Grande, a short walking distance from Nana plaza.

+1 on the Areca Lodge. I was there for two weeks last October. A bit less than $50 for a poolside room. That includes the taxes, service charge and a good breakfast buffet with omelet / eggs stand.

Guest friendly, no "joiner fee" for one guest but I have been told that a second (or third) guest will incur a small (about $10) fee. That is pretty much standard procedure in Pattaya in the regular hotels.

Location is great. Hit a golf ball to LK Metro for good gogos and tons of beer bars within stumbling distance of the hotel. Take a short walk to catch the baht bus to take you to Walking Street or Soi 6.

Also, if you are a golfer, take your clubs. The Pattaya area has a lot of very good courses that are reasonably priced. The Golf Club Bar (http://www.golfclubpattaya.com/site/) in LK Metro arranges almost daily pot games at courses in the area. The entry fee usually includes green fee, cart and round trip transportation. Most courses also require a caddy which will be a bit extra. I played about four times while I was there and had a great time. It's a very pleasant group of guys (mostly Brits and Aussies).

Lots of good info you here. I would add that BKK and Pattaya are very different, and different strokes for different folks. However, to say that mongering in BKK is limited is just wrong. In fact, it has a much more diverse scene than Pattaya with some of the most amazing looking freelancers in the world, and some very high end clubs with crazy selections. This is also a large selection of middle eastern women and African women.

Its a big city, but a world class city. Some amazing food, from great street food to fantastic fusion spots. Great clubs of all type. Yes, it is a total cluster Phuck, and not for some people, but I actually strongly prefer it to Pattaya.

At least, spend a couple of night there to see for yourself

That seems quick. Quickest I can see from Miami is 22 hours via London with British Airways.

But whether 20, 22 or even 30 hours (just get some Temazepam), a trip to the Land of Smiles will be well worth it!

I have not been to Thailand since 1996 and am considering a return there this summer. I really loved the island of Koh Samui and, from my research, it seems as though there is mongering there now but just not of the volume of Pattaya or Bangkok. That is fine by me. I hear Lamai beach is the place rather than the over crowded with backpackers Chaweng.

agree with this, I've stayed at the Hilton on Beach Road, they were nice enough to upgrade me to the executive floor one trip and even there they just smiled and wai'd when I'd bring home a friend
