Do non working girls frequent the hotel if so how do I tell them apart from a working girl, wouldn't want to approach someone's wife.

In the states I'll usually approach a working girl I'm interested in, do I approach a Chica who peaks my interest or wait at the bar for them to approach me.

Do the working girls provide condoms or should I bring my own

From reading the board so far I plan to visit zona 2 and the DR and end my stay at the holiday inn

Most of these questions are covered in the newb post but here are my responses.

1. No non-working girls do not frequent these places. If a girl is with a guy wait till he has moved on or move on yourself. Side note some of these girls have husbands and are working so you never know.

2. I usually go to the bar and observe for a bit the girls with come make eye contact smile they will come over.

3. Colones always

4. Bring your own just my own personal thing safety and all that jazz.

Take condoms. Condoms in CR are expensive and usually Durex inner tubes.

You can pay chicas in dollars, but pay for everything thing else in colones (drinks, meals, taxi, and so). Call your bank, tell them you will be in CR, use an ATM.

Of course since most Ticos y Ticas think ¢40k = $80 and ¢50k = $100, you save a bit when you pay the girls in colones.

Unless you have really deep pockets don't plan on taking a working girl back to the Holiday Inn. If you are locked into staying there do some research on short term places around the HDR for your fun time.

My last day or 2 in cr I want to stay somewhere upscale, I don't think they can charge me a chicka fee if I bring a girl at check in but I'm going to find out. Any other upscale Chicka friendly hotels close by the HDR u suggest?

The luxurious fourth floor rooms at Hotel Taormina or the newly renovated Hotel Castillo.
