So I have a few trips to CR under my belt and every time I have gone its always arrival on a Thursday morning and depart on a Monday morning... I was planning on heading down in October but things at work got really busy and I had to postpone my trip. I usually do the majority of my hunting at the DR. I always find Thursday to Saturday to be the best nights but what about the rest of the week?

Any night is good, you only need one. However- from my experience Sundays and Mondays are typically slow, and it's pretty steady the rest of the week .
There is some consensus that on Friday and Saturday many of the more energetic ones go off to Jaco, and the quality at HDR is lower, But, absolutely the best time is before and after the end of the month, when rent is due.
