I go to the Philippines every three months for a month...been doing it for years...figured I'd try CR...but after viewing this board...and hopefully I am wrong...it seems the talent is extremely limited...only a few places that the talent hangs out and from what I read...seems all the guys on here are doing the same dozen or so woman? Am I missing something?

I understand there is no "Walking Street" but is the hot spots limited to the Del Ray and this Sportsman hotel/bar? Sorry...I'm just use to seeing thousands of woman walking around and endless choices.

Appreciate an explanation if I am way off.

Honestly, respectfully speaking, CR is probably not for you. CR is nothing like Asia.

Never been to the Philippines so factor that in...

CR does not have thousands of centrally located point & click options.

CR does have latin women. And for most can be reached before you approach a psychotic state on the plane.

Been to the Philippines before and rate it as one of the best. If you use that location for a comparison model to CR you will be very disappointed. Come enjoy it for what it is but expect the whole experience to be different.

No offense but that comment adds nothing to the conversation. Perhaps you are 100% correct or 100% wrong.

The best looking batch of chicas is in the beach town of JACO at the Hotel Cocal after dark. However some are mercenary but if you are experienced you should be able to weed them out. Hotel Del Rey has large numbers of chicas of various quality. Sportsmans Lodge has good chicas and probably the best time is 5pm to 8 pm while Del Rey 9pm until 12pm for best selection. During the day many MP such as Zona II, Relax, Monicas, 360, New Fanatasy. There are many many chicas working and lookng to make some money.

There is no High Society in CR

With all due respect, your questions are so vague you're going to get responses all over the map... if you get any.

What's the scene like? It depends on where you go. Are you interested in a point and shoot situation? Quality versus quantity? GFE versus sportsphucking? Do you like a beach town environment, or do you wilt if the temperature hits 80F? Are you looking for low mileage girls, or do you want a shot at the Costa Rica All Stars (e.g. Karen or Luna)? Do you prefer surgically enhanced women, or are more of an "no bolt-ons" sort of monger?

What's the variety of talent locations like? There are hotels with working girls standing around (HDR, SL, Cocal); there are massage parlors; there are Facebook girls; there are strip clubs; there are Craiglist and Backpages pros; and there are models moonlighting as working girls (or the other way around).

one thing to remember is scale... there is 5 million people in Costa Rica, there are 12 million people+ in Metro Manila...
the gulch has probably ballpark 200 hotel rooms dedicated to mongering... so at most there are around 200 dedicated mongerers and thats at super bowl or halloween when the bigger hotels like Del Rey and Mona Lisa/ Taormina are at capacity... i think some SOGOs in manila have 200 rooms, lol... Angeles' Wild Orchid with 130 rooms, ABC with 90 rooms, Penthouse... etc...

also note the the active posters on this forum is a very small percentage of the mongers that visit Costa Rica...

The GFE, Little Brown fuk machine cooking you breakfast and cleaning your shoelaces for 1300 pesos and a bucket of jolibee is harder to find in San Jose if thats your thing.. its possible, I think its just that culturally filipino women get generally attached alot quicker, thus the instant GFE.. IMHO filipino girls can fall in love with an American with minimal interaction.. Im filipino by blood and ive experienced this first hand when i was out there and dealing with filipino women in general...

the biggest difference ive seen is that many Costa Rica hookers are working to support their K*D(s), get a new iphone, have a better quality of life etc... Filipino hookers are working to Feed their entire extended family and get off rock bottom... i think this is where the asia mongerers find issue with the cost of P4P in costa rica

there maynot be a walking street, but there also isnt the poverty in your face with K*ds begging for money and food out side of the bars...

i personally love San Jose over the Phillipines, but thats just me...
my recommendation is you take a short trip to costa rica to see what it has to offer.. it may or maynot be a fit... worst case scenario is you get laid...
