My situation on another post recently was a little different but I did once send WU down to a good storyteller. Turned out I was one of many. I wasen't mad or anything, just chalked it up to experience. It happenes to all of us. You gotta go with your heart and if you're wrong, you're out the bucks but you got an education.

Sure they need the money. EVERYBODY needs money, especially a girl who doesn't have a job and has a K*D or two. Add in rent and a sick family member and you'll never hear the end of it.

Yea his translation was perfect, and I let it roll, adding at the end that this would "Resolverá su problemas permanentemente. Besos." I had her live time yesterday but that is rare. May be a few days if I hear back at all, and will certainly let all know the outcome. Your idea was "excellente." Thanks

My apologies for coming across as a smart ass. But how is it not relevant? You said you were done with CR, all that standing in line at the airport and emptying your pockets is such a hassle, but then point out one reason you're considering sending the money is " Her promise is a great time when I come back." You then try to convince us (or yourself) that this one is different and "special" because she didn't hang at the DR or KL. Gee I wonder where she learned about Western Union, and the standard $300.00 request, followed by the 100.00 plea when you balk.
I notice your response is edited twice and Don Giovanni deleted his post for some reason, one can only speculate what your original response was and that maybe you also took issue with him, so he probably said screw it and deleted his whole post, (which was a good one that shared his experience.) It's funny how some guys ask for comments/opinions until someone posts something they don't want to hear.

The other thread by JAG (the newbie) on this same topic has the same answers, but you're a vet anyway so is there really anything posted you didn't already know?
The question was "scam or no?" Well that depends on what your definition of the word "scam" is. Can she use the money- of course. Will you get anything in return- if you expect to it's not really a "gift" is it, and you might as well go down and pay her for sexo.

Thanks for your fine tuned analysis and keen observations on editing, but it seems it is all a lot more important to you than me. Are you trying to make yourself feel better by attempting to discredit me? Did I ever say I would take her up on the good time? Yes, I am still through with the Costa Rica scene. I found one that was worth it, distinctly different experience, but was it worth 7 trips, airport hassles, the same with "pay me first" chicas, blow up dolls, grade b porno sound effects, etc. and around $20,000? Nope. Just interested in some feedback on this WU thing, just for fun. No grand issue. As to her knowing the "script," well, she was initially brought to Key Largo by a friend and a pro who was about fluent in English. Could have learned it from her. Still think the K*D was as green as they come and probably backed out of the business. But none of us will ever know for sure. Would I go back to just see her? Possible but very doubtful, chances 1 in 10 I`d say. If so, I`d rent a room outside the gulch and make it exclusive. Sorry guy, but my feelings have not changed.
