Is that the place that's like $15/night and has roaches sitting alongside guests at the breakfast table?

No, I think it was Vesuvio or something like that.

I do not, but the location leaves much to be desired. I urge you to use nite-time transport to and fro. And this comes from someone who walks around at night.

I agree with BD the Cacoon Hotel is located about 40 yards from pension 360. I have no idea if they charge for guests but I would check the Vesuvio or even the Hemingway or Moranson rather than camp in the middle of that neighborhood.

I have stayed there, and they do not charge a chica fee, one chica at a time. It is a nice hotel, with a fairly good breakfast included in the room price. I have also stayed at the Vesuvio, and the Cocoon is a much better hotel. During the day, I always walked between there and downtown and the SL without any problems. After dark, I used taxis. They have a restaurant and a small bar. Domestic beers were 1 mil. I will probably stay there again when I return, but I don't know when.

No, I think it was Vesuvio or something like that.

I have stayed at the Vesuvio many times and never saw a roach, in the hotel or the restaurant. The restaurant is a separate building from the hotel.

With the SL Summer Special discount of 20%/25% credit/cash for 4 or more nights you can stay at SL's lowest priced rooms for about the same price point as Cocoon. No chica fee at either hotel. I would pick SL as my first choice between these two options.

I would not suggest the Cocoon for a first-time visitor, simply because of it's location. It is right on the corner of "Eek!" and "Umm...".
