And now once again for the contrarian point of view.
The recent comments posted that say, more or less, "No one forced these girls into this" are very interesting on soooo many levels.
First of all, these comments subtly imply there is something morally "wrong" about what these girls are doing. If that's the case... then aren't we enabling the "immoral" acts committed by these women? Given we are these girls' customers, doesn't that make us accomplices to their "immorality"?
Second, these comments seem to imply some of you feel some sort of moral superiority over these women. Almost as if you, from your lofty perch of entitled gringotude, are allowed to judge them for the choices they make. Yet I would wager many - if not all - of you would look upon with a frown if people judged YOU for mongering.
Thirdly, most of us seem to ignore the fact we have ALL -- without exception -- been beneficiaries in one way or the other of the myriad of social programs and government initiatives enacted in this country... yet we resent "our taxes" going to benefiting others because we think "others" are cheating the system.
What is up with that? Or, in cruder terms - WTF is wrong with you people? Are dollars and cents all you think about? Have you no compassion?

I think you are inferring a lot from the posts that isn't there.
I don't think anybody has questioned the "morality" of them hooking. Like you said, that would be hypocritical and just stupid on our part. I personally have no problem with women choosing to prostitute themselves to take care of their family. And I was the one who first said that "nobody is forcing them into it". The "immoral" things that they are doing are the drugs, the staying out all night, the wasting money on cell phones/clothes/makeup instead of the Ch*ld's needs. And yes, I'm judging them on those things. And not based on moral superiori,ty but on common sense.
Any by the way, we are all judged by them on every level every day and you of all people know this (since you are a fluent Spanish speaker and I'm sure hear them talking about us). And I couldn't care any less who judges me for this hobby.
As for your third bullet point.. yes, many of us have probably been beneficiaries of social services at some point in our lives. A lot of people have had a hard time at some point. Again,
at some point in our lives. Not every day of our lives. I have no problem seeing a handicapped person taking advantage of the services that are available to them. Those are the people that I have compassion for. Vets who can't get medical aid, nor housing, because it's not in the budget. World Trade Center first responders who are dying from lung cancer and have to fight in court for basic medical services. What I have a problem with is the 25 year old welfare queen with 5 K*ds by 4 different fathers making a Youtube video proudly boasting about how she would be stupid to work since she gets twice as much money, food stamps, section 8, WIC, etc etc by not working. To think how many billions of dollars are wasted on these worthless "people" is scary. No other country on the planet is so generous to society's dead weight.
