• In addition to Amex Platinum, the Citi Executive Black card also covers your Global Entry fees.
• When I first got GE in 2010, there were 2 GE kiosks in MIA immigration, and you could breeze through the same exit line the aircrews used. Even though now there are at least 20 GE kiosks, frequently you have to wait a few minutes for one to free up given the number of people who have signed up.
• Recently MIA changed how you exit baggage claim - instead of the old lines, now they have INS officers standing at the exit from baggage claim randomly checking people as they walk out. Having GE doesn't exclude you from being interrogated.
