The band was kicking it (local what-I'd-call-salsa). La Passionara and the three amigas came in when we did (we'd been crossing paths since the SL and I'd been her 'work' for the night) so I bought them a beer and they were ready to party.

If my wallet hadn't been flat I would have seriously considered taking them all back to LA and played tiddlywinks or something (seriously) for a couple of hours because the three amigas were having serious self-esteem issues.

"Here I am, all dressed to phuck and ready to go if a guy just asks the price and no one wants me!"

A dude could have probably pulled them all for $180 by midnight and had a BBBJ competition - one of what the K*ds call a rainbow party.

Maybe the SL and DR were filled with knowledgeble mongers who know that whats on display are all dreaming of cien and grudgingly accepting ocho.
The smart monger reasoning would be why take a chance on a hot one who feels she is giving it away by accepting ocho. She keeps whining when approached about how she gets $150 down at the Cocal and how terribly cheap the SJ mongers are. He is not too sure how great the session will be.
The smart monger then reasons that it would be better to comb the Gringo favourite MPs and get his moneys worth for $40 plus about $10 in up sells. If he finds a really good one he can usually make a deal for her to come visit him. He will need to be discreet but it can be done.
So he is happy and the girl from the MP is happy giving of her best for double her normal take.

I was at Sportsmen's during the day and at night from 20-23 April. The place was packed at night with numerous young ladies. On Saturday it was Cowboy night and the place was jumping with many girls dancing on the bar. I am not sure why visitors do not find the SL a good place. I guess too many rumors of the cien. I guarantee they may start at cien, but they will come down. They do not want to go home with empty pockets.
