Dear Friends, So wonderful to read all the tips on this site. kicking myself for not stumbling on this site before.

Nevertheless, Looking forward to coming on April 29th.

I think already did my first mistake. I booked a package on priceline for Air+Hotel (@Sleep in)..thinking its a better value and Airport rides are free. But now I'm concerned given the steep Chica fees. Called up Priceline and they are willing to cancel Hotel without any penality and allow me to book at another hotel. They don't have SL, Armstid listed. They have Zona 2 & Taormina. Am I better off changing to one of these hotels? and give up the free airport rides and good breakfast? (I'm a vegetarian).

I'm value-driven person looking forward for some good GFE kind of experiences, MPs. How important do you think it'll be to take Chicas to room? vs Love Hotel (La Oficina, Hotel Asia)

Last question, Anything major happening that weekend, that' will limit availability love hotels?

Please advise. Appreciate it a lot !!

Are you obligated to book a hotel through Priceline as part of the deal? If not, I'd just take the plane ticket and grab the hotel on your own to open up options.

If you're 'stuck' picking Z2 or Taormina, either will be better than Sleep Inn from a playdate standpoint as I see it. So you're not as stuck as it seems. Think it's awesome that Z2 is on Priceline!

Both of the 2 options above are guest friendly, making the need for a love hotel unecessary. You'd be spending extra money, counter to your budget orientation. As to where the chica will go, it depends on the chica. The venues you're looking at... any chica that balks is likely a problem you should walk away from.

You might have to prioitize a bit the wants and needs list. How "free" is the airport ride if the hotel is $10 a night more than a comperable one with no "free" ride? Same goes for breakfast. Free breakfasts in my experience, are adequate. Maybe the Sleep Inn's is in the category of "good".

You can actually eat pretty cheap if you get out of the hotel/gulch. And you'll be in a part of the world with good produce. Get out there and live local a bit. Food is easy to get to. Don't let hotel choice dictate your meal options and diet. Mornings are an excellent time to explore SJ.

Transportation... what time do you arrive? Bus would be the cheapest but I don't think it a good option for a 1st timer. I've considered the bus but prefer to get there as fast as possible without hassle - meaning arranged ride. First time visitor, I recommend paying up for the private ride.

What's your definition of GFE?

The MP model is for a quick romp to get you off. In fact, that's the model a great number of chicas outside MPs operate under.

The way you write it I'm wondering if you have the impression you take the chica from the MP somewhere. Not the case, you do the deed in one of the rooms on site.

The suites at Zona 2 are awesome. You won't be sorry if you stay there.

The talent available at Zona 2 is awesome. You won't be sorry if you play there.

If you pay for a CRT membership before you arrive, you'll save enough money with discounts in your first day or two to pay for the membership.

Thanks HD. They just confirmed will refund the hotel part of the package. I can book anywhere now. This trip and now Hotel part I may be able to expense out (if used on my CC in USD)..hence cost of hotel/airport rides/food being inclusive in room price is advantageous.. thats all. Whats the best "value" chica friendly hotel room in your opinion??

Didn't realize Chica's are picky and if I understood you correctly "they may not prefer coming to love hotels"?

1. GFE - The "experience" - element of taking time, friendliness, attitude,BBBJ, action, non-rushed. Not just the quicky, rushed sessions. I guess quality over quantity.
2. MPs if I find good quality (Yes, I understand it happens onsite and cannot take home).
3. May be a two girl action at the hotel room, if options open up.
4. Repeat 1,2 & 3
..
..
99. Eat
100. Sleep
:P

Land SJO @ 11:00am on 29th. Return flt 2:15p on May 2nd. I'm originally born/brought up in India. Some of the chaos I read in SJ forums is part of our upbringing in a "developing country" and don't mind the hassle. All part of exploring  We can always fall back on point-point taxi's if it gets challenging.

Yes, I'm all for exploring, eating out, and riding the bus, walking, light traveler (no check-in luggage)

Thanks Jim (Lucky13) & Rac, Given that I'm not limited to the two options now any more and with the additional clarity I provided, what would you suggest? Shall I still stick with Zona 2?

Thanks for all your advise friends !! Would anyone be in the area so we can meet up?

I say - - - join CRT and stay at Zona 2.

Unless you want to, you'll never have to leave the building.

Good stuff.

If you are going on an expense account I'd look at La Amistad or Taormina. Guest friendly but a little lower key and their marketing would not raise eyebrows if the expense account approver decides to check.

Why do you see a need for love hotels?

My point on chicas and where they will or won't go... if she does not like your venue it is probably because: 1) she's not allowed there for some reason, 2) has an attitude, or 3) both. Meaning she's bad news. All that usually matters is $. So if they are picky = red flag.

Daytime flight, perfect. Go outside and upstairs to dropoff for ticketing. Offer $20 to the hotel. You'll usually get a taker otherwise they leave without a faire. I usually get in too late to do this.

GFE - some things on your list are pretty specific acts and can be negotiated like BBBJ, amount of time etc. Personality and attitude... less controllable and you just do your best to feel that out in the get to know stage.
