Been on the board for about a wk now and the wealth of info is unreal...appreciate all the input and I plan to provide the same after my first trip.

Im looking to stay in a nice suite/penthouse room and cost wont be a barrier. From everything ive read it looks like i cant go wrong at SL, and looks like Zona 2 has some nice suites as well. Does anyone have any direct experiences they can share? Anyone tried out the Penthouse room at SL?

Thanks in advance. Welcome any other advice for a first timer as well (ive read Orange' post and i feel more than prepared)!

The Sportsman's Lodge Penthouse is great as are most of the other Mansion Wing rooms. The deluxe rooms at L'Amistad are great as well if you get the right room. Some are better than others. I was in room 201 at L'Amistad tonight and it was very good with jacuzzi, sauna, king bed, private sitting area. It depends on how big a party you want to have. The Sportsman's Lodge penthouse has two hot tubs on an enclosed deck, a bar, a large screened tv, a second bedroom. I think that only one of the rooms at Zona II has a jacuzzi. The rooms are large and comfortable. My favorite as far as suites go is the Presidential suite at the Sportsman's, just inside the front door. It is also one of the least expensive. The noise doesn't bother me, they do a good job of keeping it quiet at night.

Thanks Pops! You confirmed my thoughts about SL so if i cant get the Penthouse on the dates I want I'll probably try one of the other Mansion wing rooms. Will be making the trip solo so not looking to have that big of a party but thought it would be great to have a big party style room to myself for a few nights.

L'amistad suites sound nice too but the only thing is the suites dont have any names listed on the website, so seems like it might be a crap shoot on which one you end up with. Or could i call and request 201 or another specific room? Lucky 13 at Zona looks really nice too.

From personal experience, Amistad suites in my order of preference:

202, 312, 201, 203 - all have ensuite jacuzzis and saunas.
310 - large apartment suite with a loft and large windows
311 - apartment suite with two bathrooms and full sized kitchen
200 and 100 - studios with jacuzzis

Heller knows Amistad, so go with his info.

At Zona, the rooms are large, but I prefer Freddy's "palace", though it has a sauna instead of a jacuzzi.

I know nothing about any suites but a little bit about Ladies,
If you stay at Zona2 you get a discount on the in house harem.
Instead of $60 you pay $45/hour. Confirm with Lucky 13
You can bring back ladies of your choice from outside too at no extra charge.
La amistad has no in house ladies and Sportsman has ladies hanging out at the bar but they charge whatever they feel you will pay.
