By end of day today (Wed, Dec 30th), I will read all the replies and announce whether we are staying as is and posting the picks publicly or going with the hidden picks.

I have thought about it, and it's not fair to the top guys to change the rules all of a sudden, without notice.

This year, we will continue as is. But next year, the last 3-4 weeks will be hidden to add some strategy.

PLEASE POST YOUR PICKS ON THIS THREAD FOR WEEK 17 AS USUAL. FIRM PICKS DEADLINE OF 1PM (EASTERN) ON SUNDAY, JAN 3RD.

In past years you have allowed picks on the last week to be submitted by PM if the picker wished, is that an option this year?

I checked last year and there was no option to PM picks. So I will keep it as is.

Next year, it will be in the rules, in weeks 13-17 there will be an option to submit picks by PM. So, if anybody chooses, they will be able to hide their picks from the rest of the group until after the deadline.

But for this year, all picks must be posted on this thread for all to see, with a firm deadline of 1pm eastern. Reminder... All picks must be made in one post by the deadline or all picks for the week are voided.

Did the top guys privately complain? I would think it's in their best interest to have the picks hidden.
