Just in town for the first time in a couple years and maybe I'm nuts but I swear I smelled the scent of someone smoking weed like 4 times walking around Centro downtown. I thought marijuana was crazy illegal here. Is this place turn ing into Colorado?

Not smart to smoke on the street . I stay at Freebird and sit outside next to road [ behind fence ] and it's not a issue .

When I was there last May, I got caught in a rain storm and took shelter in the covered pavilion in the park in front of the Holiday Inn. There were numerous people smoking weed in that pavilion.

I smoke a lot and I prefer to wave and smile at inexperienced people with high caliber weapons . I was in the park Morazon in May when the Policia walk down the line and search everyone who was not a tourist , Try wax and smoke a pen easy to transport and no smell . I will be there Sept 1 & 2nd . 420 to you

I don't think its really a big deal but there are so many nooks and crannies that aren't out in the open why risk it?
American w a joint is likely going to be an issue if spotted.
If you are needing to toke out in the open I agree w the wax comment
Just do it in your room and blow it out the window w some incense burning like we learned as K*ds!
