Gentlemen:

Politicians and reporters raise the subject of prostitution for one reason only (and it's not because they give a dam) to get their names in the paper and to get talked about. It's called publicity. As we have proven here it works. Do not worry gentlemen she's not going to take your toys away. But I think we have a very good example of why politics is not a thing we need to get into. By the way every group needs a person who's willing to say what others are thinking. We are fortunate to have a spokesman who is perfectly willing not to beat around the Bush. No pun intended.

Now, if they are out to stop people from chasing minors, I am all for that. BTW , I thought that Boston dentist was chasing minors. There are more fine chicas over 18 that I could chase for a lifetime. We need to leave the K*ds alone, and never support anybody who messes with minors.

I've had about enough fellas, This thread at this point brings nothing to the table. It has gone off whether you want to believe it or not on polictical stands and has terrible overtones.

ENOUGH! I don't lock threads or delete them to often but this in my opinion adds nothing to our hobby that is constructive NOTHING!

I see no reason to leave this up past tomorrow. If anyone disagrees let me know as I'm sure there will be some who go off on the censor ship issue, but to be honest this post is not even about CR as we don't even beleive in sexual tours here so where is the benefit YOU TELL ME!

The topic of this thread is a good one. The back-and-forth... not so much.

Maybe we can all play nice and not be offended and consider offering well-thought-out opinions on the funny little folks who would like to prosecute hobbyists.

So here's mine.... what the phuck? It is legal for an American citizen to travel to other countries. It is EXPECTED that those citizens would abide by the laws of that country. Isn't that what we are doing if we travel to CR and play with girls 18 and up? Where's the problem?

It definitely smells like a publicity grab. Also, I think that these folks have good intentions about preventing exploitation (a fine goal, to be sure) but they spout stuff out of their mouth without thinking it through and make themselves look foolish. In fact, we have just seen a bit of that here.
The good thing is, we can always go back and edit / delete posts that are unfortunate, and get back to the cool and fun spirit of the board.

It will be a cold day in hell when the US government actually causes a problem for us to travel to places like CR to hobby.

The observation was made that many certain groups behave like "whores" such as politicians, women who marry for money, prostitutes, etc. Hell, my job makes me feel like a whore sometimes.
Doing things we don't like for money. Doing things that violate our conscience for money, etc.

I have found that in many cases, when people point a finger at someone else and accuse, they are often guilty of the same or very similar thing.

I wonder if those funny little folks from the article realize how VERY close they are to fitting the description of those they are persecuting. Maybe they tell themselves some bullsh*t to justify it like -I'm not as bad as them, -the end justifies the means, etc.

In the end, they are simply foolish, and when they open their mouth this way, they reveal it to the whole world. Let us laugh at them, as is appropriate, and not behave like the hypocrites that they are.

One of our founding forefathers once said.... "you can't legislate the hearts and minds of men". Yep.

It doesn't make sense.

However, even as I type it I remember: that actually makes it MORE likely that it will happen. I guess we better all just move to CR.
