Flowers are romantic...but you never know if they get them....addresses suck in CR....but $$$ @ WU... they will definitely go get it @ the Mercado like a greyhound chasing the rabbit at the track!

About 12 years ago, I sent flowers to a chica in Cartago. I found the florist and did the ordering online. Knowing about the lack of street numbers in CR, I was leery about it...I figured there was perhaps a 50/50 chance that she would get them. I knew the barrio she lived in, so I included that in the instructions, as well as something like...'near the Chinese restaurant, across the bridge, the second house on the right'
When I arrived in CR later in the week, I saw them for myself, and was impressed. As I recall, the delivery fee was quite high.
