The plan is to open the Castillo and eventually convert the Amistad into a Medical Building and long term apartments (over the course of 2 years.)

Interesting, Matt. What type of medical building will the Amistad be in addition to long-term apartments?

I can assume that my reservation for February 2016 at LA will not be affected by the future plans for the hotel, correct? Thanks for the info.

That is correct. I expect the change to take place one year after Castillo opens.

One block from the largest Hospital in Costa Rica and everything around me going Medical Towers, only God knows. My Guess is 1-2 Floors Long term apartments and the lower floors Medical and Restaurant. I applied to find out what is possible at the location and will keep everyone in the loop. Again this is a long term plan (two years out)

Matt

Greengo- I thought that was you there the other night. I would have stopped by to say hello, but I did not want to interrupt your ongoing oratory

No nothing read into it.. All's good.. I hate the thought of LA going away. Hopefully Castillo will turn out to be everything LA is and then some. We got something in common. I'm the biggest Dodger fan you'll ever meet
