Stayed there 1st night of recent trip. Staff friendly decent rooms a little out of way but I do recommend.

Yes, Hotel 9 is chica friendly but gets forgotten (too often IMHO) being on the far south end of Jaco Beach. Nice property and good staff but you will need taxis to get to town.
