Hey Lucky Dogg, where do you check for fares? I usually use Kayak and Skyscanner.com. But I don't know if those pick up and display the special fares. LAX>SJO is reasonable on Delta in April via Kayak- nonstop $495. I love the LAX>SJO route Delta's running now because on Avianca, American, AeroMex or Copa and Spirit there's always the stop and layover out of LAX and usually a higher price than Delta or not enough of a price break to spend the extra hours traveling and you leave at night arrive in the am, then depart SJO around 10am which is reasonable.

But if there are other sites to check I would like to know about them.

TicaFan, I use Airfarewatchdogg.com for the updates. I plug in the cities that I know CRT members are flying from to SJO. Get updates just about everyday. I often send my repeat guys updates as well, so if I know Southwest has a sale out of Boston, I give my guys know from the N.E. the heads up. Pretty good service. If you want to check the lowest fare available for your airport, I highly recommend Matrix Ita software by google. (Irish Drifter turned me on to this right before he passed away) http://matrix.itasoftware.com/ Google is the best search engine in the business. With Matrix, you can easily search from months on out. Much easier for you guys to plan a trip. Good luck in your search.
