One employee told me 3 days ago of the enormous gratefulness they ALL have for what we have done for them......even without knowing the final amount of the donation.

Orange has done a GREAT job of keeping it well organized.

A true measure of a man's character is what he does for others when nobody else is looking.

Exactly. Duty, honor, responsibility to those done wrong--these words have meaning and Bro Orange exemplifies them. I was pleased to do my little bit.

I spent some time with Orange last night and what you guys say is correct....he's good people. On the other hand, the absence of some names on the list of donations continues to baffle me. Is $10 seriously gonna affect your life and keep you from doing what you normally do? I guess I was brought up a little different. Have a great Superbowl everyone.

Well Yatzie my friend, you might be surprised what a lot of people do in the name of charity but don't talk about.
After all the spirit of helping out those less fortunate is to do it without needing to be congratulated and honored for the act.
Not in anyway saying that those who donated or were listed did it for recognition...just sayin
I commend anyone who donated to this cause and stop well short of judging those who didn't.
Great job guys.

To have good intentions is commendable but without someone like ORANGE stepping up to take on all the practical tasks needed to make it all successful this whole donation project would have fizzled out.
I would have loved to be in CR like I was last year at Scores but it just was not possible for me this year. I hope some of you will be able to to be at Zona2 with Orange today.

Everybody showed up to get their money. All wanted me to pass on a big thank you to the guys that donated, and a few were on the verge of tears. A couple didn't believe it was true until they were handed the envelope.

All in all, it turned out well. It was almost like a reunion for many of them.

Thanks to Isra for starting this, I just followed his lead and happened to be here to distribute. I wish those of you who donated could see the joy that you brought to most of the people.

As for the recognition, I only posted the names to let everybody know the total. I didn't anybody thinking money was misallocated or anything. I hope that nobody donated ONLY to have their name posted in the thread.

This was big for CRT too. It has again proved what a good bunch of guys are on the board. I think this was a nice gesture that none of the people ever expected or even believed would happen.

I was with Orange today as he gave the donations to the people. Most of the donees related that they are still reeling from what happened to them by the way that ScoreS closed it's door.

I expect that this is the first time anybody gave some of them a chunk of money for any reason. They all were very thankful for what the donors did for them. Orange and I explained that many guys made this happen. Y'all who donated can feel good about it.

Thank you, Orange, Rac , and Isra123, and everyone else who was instrumental in making these donations possible. I don't think anyone donated just to see their name on a list, although the list was glaring by some names that were not on it. May all those who contributed be richly rewarded.
