Too many things wrong to list here. Its a shame too.....because it has so much potential with respect to the building itself and its location.

Stay across the street at the Dunn Inn.

Can't believe the place is still open. 1.Room safe thefts--2.Beautiful restaurant that rarely has more than 2 or 3 customers if any--3. Real nice bar where the bartenders usually out number the customers--4. Gaming tables taken out because of no customers--5. Poorly managed from the start--

There are sure to be changes if and when the new owners take over. All for the good. It's not a secret that Tommy has been trying to sell. Hear me now! It will be open and is not closing. Matter of fact I am still putting clients in there and none of my guys have had a problem. Please continue to support the Mona Lisa.

Rumor has it, Feb 14th is their last day. Of course you didn't hear that from me, after the false rumor I put out about Scores closing.

Guys who JUST VISIT HERE just do not understand how good (and often accurate) the "rumor mill" (street talk) is here. Even after all these years of living here I am often amazed at how often the "rumors" we resident mongers hear come true!!!

I don't doubt that this is true. But to be fair, this is the case throughout most communities in the world IMHO. Never underestimate the power of the "rumor mill".

If that's true, all you people staying there over the next couple of weeks better be careful with your shit. Them boys will be gettin' busy tryin' to take whatever they can get their hands on. Just sayin'.

If it's true, it would be sad. I hate to see businesses like Scores and ML with great potential close. It limits our options. Also it would put a lot of feral ceiling cats out of business. (See hilarious CRT memes).

I kinda think it's good news for us. Obviously they are trying to sell it and someone will probably get a good deal on the place. Under new ownership and management, that place could be a goldmine. But your right, we really do need that place to be open as an option when rooms are scarce in the gulch. Hope it opens back up soon (If it's really closing).

It could also create a problem assuming that it closes. Castillo is off the market for several more months, who knows how the Scores property will play out, and now the possibility of almost 100 more rooms off the market. The closure / reopening may or may not be seamless. The possibility exists that it could be monger unfriendly.
Choices will be limited, Matt and Bill will be turning away guests, book your rooms now if you are planning a spring trip.

Excellent analysis and advice, especially that bolded sentence.
